About us
Hello! We’re Bev and Ed Hutton, and we’ve been lucky enough to call this lovely cottage in the heart of Beaulieu our home for over 20 years.
After retiring, we thought it would be wonderful to open up our home and share a little slice of the New Forest with others. What started as a small idea has become something we truly enjoy — welcoming guests, hearing their stories, and helping them discover the beauty and charm of this unique area.
We’re now in our fourth year of hosting, and we love it just as much as we did at the beginning (if not more!).
Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, a long walk among the ponies, or just to unwind, we’re happy to offer a cosy space and a few local tips along the way.

Very relaxing stay. Great location for Beaulieu Motor and Gardeners World show. Parking at side of house. Lovely comfy bed. Fridge. Good choice of teas etc. Fresh milk. Very welcoming and friendly. Great view from window. Access to tv. Plenty of cafes nearby with good food and opposite garden centre with lovely café. Pleasant local walks and 2 mile pretty walk to Bucklers Hard off high street. Would stay again.

It was a nice stay and a much more interesting place than we expected, we wished to stay longer.
Kind hosts. We could leave our backpack before checking in time and after checking out time which made our walks more comfortable. There were some small things, like oatmilk in a small refrigerator and such.

Great place to see the New Forsest, nice big comfy room and welcoming hosts.
Wonderful characterful cottage, very comfortable bed, nice big room with great selection of teas and coffees. Really lovely hosts Bev and Ed were very welcoming but also super quiet and discrete. The location is beautiful, in the centre of Beaulieu, cafes and shops in the highstreet and nice pub The Monty just a couple of minutes walk. We were greated by donkeys on arrival and saw loads of ponies, foals and wildlife all very nearby. Highly reccmmended and excellent value. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
